some first thoughts...

Just wanted to make sure that the back's tradition can be continued, so I quickly registered the name of this blog.

Alan's already back in Singapore. But not for good, just one last time on business before the move at the end of this year.

We have been debating if we should keep our present apartment till the very last day, or if we should move into a temporary place that's furnished. But the thought of having to move twice really puts me off. I'm staying put. Definitely not keen to spend my last months in Frankfurt packing all the time.

I had my foretaste of packing today. My kids and I were in the playroom the whole day sorting out toys. Strangely, packing /doing chores seems fun enough for them. They did not complain at all! Wonder if they would be as cooperative as they were today when the real packing days finally arrive.

Till about 10.30pm, the playroom finally returned to its original state before the many play dates this year. Toys lost are now found again. Bryan's so impressed that Mommy just seemed to know where the missing parts were. Actually, I always keep a few little boxes/baskets/bottles and have been picking up things at random every night when the kids turn in. So when things are missing, I'll look into my little-parts-containers.

These two huge cabinets are really ideal in tucking away the mess. I find the deep shelves very useful. Just perfect, when you wanna hide some toys away. What would I do when I'm back in Sg without them?

Though I'm still not very happy with the cabinet on the left hand side, it will do for now - no more energy, no more packing mood.
Look at the top left hand corner. That's just a part of the craftwork that the kids brought home. I have many more to sort out. And am wondering if I should keep them all, or just make a digital copy using my camera.

Good grief... I didn't even realise that I had comments on this blog, sorry!

I don't think I would continue from this biS blog. Too much fond memories of biG that I can't give up. So biG will still be biG, but technically, we're already bACk from Germany. :) You could call it bfG if you'd like.
